Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) برنامج ابتعاث الحكومة الكورية

In this post I'll be explaining in general about the Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) before getting in deep details. So, In general it's program provided by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) for International student to give them the opportunity to study in Korean with full support. Bellow, I'll explain the two type of scholarships provided.

في هذه التدوينة راح اشرح بشكل عام عن برنامج ابتعاث الحكومة الكورية KGSP قبل لا ادخل بالتفاصيل في التدوينات الجاية. بشكل عام هو برنامج مدعوم من الحكومة الكورية بشكل خاص المعهد القومي للتعليم العالمي (NIIED) عشان يعطي فرصة للطلاب من جميع انحاء العالم انهم يدرسون في كوريا بدعم كلي. تحت راح اشرح البعثتين الي يقدمونهم بتفاصيل شوي أكثر.

• KGSP consist of 2 programs, Undergraduate (Bachelor) and graduate (Master/PhD).

• Every year NIIED choose the list of countries and decide the number of scholars from each one, plus to deciding applying method.

• Applying is either directly to the university (only 1) or via embassy (you can choose 3 different universities).

• You and your parents should not hold Korean citizenship.

Undergraduate :

1. Applying start in September and Study starts around March.

2. you should have high school diploma & minimum GPA 80%

3. Your age should be under 25

4. Full tuition Fees :1 Language year + max 4 years degree (ex. you can't study medical because it's more that 4 years)

5. Flights Fees ( 2 in totals, one when you enter Korea for the first time and the second when you finish your scholarship).

6. Settlement allowance : 200$ (First enter to South Korea).

7. Monthly allowance : 800$ + 100$ (if you have TOPIK level 5 or 6).

8. Monthly medical insurance up to 20$.

9. 100$ when you complete your scholarship.

Graduate:

1. Applying start in February and Study starts in September.

2. you should have Bachelor (master) / Master (PhD) & minimum GPA 2.64/4 (refer to the above image for other scale)

3. Your age should be under 40

4. Full tuition Fees :1 Language year + 2 years (Master) / 3 years (PhD)

5. Flights Fees ( 2 in totals, one when you enter Korea for the first time and the second when you finish your scholarship).

6. Settlement allowance : 200$ (First enter to South Korea).

7. Monthly allowance : 900$ + 100$ (if you have TOPIK level 5 or 6).

8. Monthly medical insurance up to 20$.

9. Research Fees at the beginning of each semester : around 210$ - 240$ (Depends on your studies)

10. 100$ when you complete your scholarship.

Notice:

• Having English Language certificate such as IELTS / TOFEL or Korean Language certificate (TOPIK) would give you preference.

• You are paying for residence fees from your allowance.

• It's mandatory to stay at language institute dorm for the first year.

• Normally GCC Countries aren't chosen for Undergraduate Scholarship, and really few of Arabs countries they get chosen for it.

• KGSP تتكون من بعثتين, Undergraduate (بكالريوس) و graduate (ماستر / دكتورا).

• كل سنة NIIED تحدد الدول الي تختارهم للبعثات و تحدد عدد البعثات لكل دولة و طريقة التقديم

• طرق التقديم تكون اما عن طريقة مباشرة للجامعة (جامعة واحدة فقط) او عن طريق السفارة (3 جامعات) - طريقة التقديم اتحددها NIIED لكل دولة

• المتقدم و أهله (الأم و الأب) ما عندهم الجنسية الكورية 😜

​بكالريوس:

1. التقديم يبدأ في سبتمبر و الدراسة في حدود مارس

2. يكون عندك شهادة ثانوية عامة بمعدل 80٪

3. عمرك أقل من 25

4. رسوم التعليم مشمولة كلياُ بالبعثة : سنة لغة + على الأكثر 4 سنوات دراسة تخصص (مثال: دراسة الطب غير مدعومة لأنها أكثر من ٤ سنوات)

5. تذاكر السفر (مجموع تذكرتين, وحدة اول روحه لكوريا و الثانية بعد ما اتخلص البعثة)

6. مصروف استقرار : 200$ (أول دخول لكوريا فقط)

7. مصروف شهري : 800$ + 100$ (في حالة الحصول على المستوى الخامس/ السادس في امتحان الـTOPIK)

8. تأمين صحي شهري يصل لـ20$ .

9. $100 بعد الانتهاء من البعثة

​ماستر / دكتورا:

1. التقديم يبدأ في فبراير و الدراسة في سبتمبر

2. يكون عندك شهادة بكالريوس (ماستر) / ماستر (دكتورا) و معدل 2.64/4

3. عمرك أقل من 40

4. رسوم التعليم مشمولة كلياُ بالبعثة : سنة لغة + سنتين (ماستر) / 3 سنوات (دكتورا)

5. تذاكر السفر (مجموع تذكرتين, وحدة اول روحه لكوريا و الثانية بعد ما اتخلص البعثة)

6. مصروف استقرار : 200$ (أول دخول لكوريا فقط)

7. مصروف شهري : 900$ + 100$ (في حالة الحصول على المستوى الخامس/ السادس في امتحان الـTOPIK)

8. تأمين صحي شهري يصل لـ20$ .

9. مصروف ابحاث بداية كل فصل دراسي: 210$ - 240 $ (يعتمد على التخصص)

10. $100 بعد الانتهاء من البعثة

ملاحظات:

• شهادة اللغة الانجليزية مثل الـ IELTS / TOFEL او شهادة اللغة الكورية TOPIK تعطيك الأفضلية

• رسوم السكن انت الي تدفعها

• السكن في سكن معهد اللغة اجباري أول سنة

• بالعادة دول الخليج ما يكون لهم نصيب في بعثات البكالريوس و الدول العربية قليل جداً
